A scanner for your phone

If you need to send us documents through our portal (or email), here’s a recommended free scanner for your phone.

It’s Adobe Scan. It’s free on the Ap Store or Google Play. I use it. It’s recommended by the Wirecutters tech column at the New York Times.

You use the ap, rather than your camera function, to take a picture and it converts the picture to pdf. Those pdf documents load and email much better than photos. Also you can use the phone to scan multiple pages and send them to us as a single document.

Here’s a helpful Youtube instruction on how to use Adobe Scan.

Learning to use these remote tools take a few minutes. But–I like to say–it’s a lot quicker than trying to drive ten miles in Northern Virginia.

Hope this is helpful.
