Paralegal Lori Rupp earns a new distinction

At this year’s annual conference of the Association of Bankruptcy Judical Assistants, my senior paralegal, Lori Rupp, completed the training program and the test to become a certified Bankruptcy Assistant.

Ms. Rupp has 24 years of bankruptcy experience, including three as staff paralegal for the Chapter 13 Trustee in Flint Michigan.

It’s a rare honor for a paralegal working for a consumer law firm to participate in the training and certifiication at the ABJA.

Each day during your Chapter 13 plan, Lori is our liaison with the Court, the Chapter 13 trustee and you. If there’s a hang-up or a problem, she brings those to me–and to you. So please always read her her emails and answer her calls.

It helps to tell Lori as soon as you experience a problem or have a question. We have some time to straighten things out if we hear from you before the probem gets out of hand,

Meet Lexria, My Virtual File Clerk

Lexria, is my virtual file clerk. She can’t answer legal questions, but she is really good at getting the necessary information and bankruptcy required documents.

Meet Jubilee Key, my document manager

Jubilee Key is my document manager. She will send you our final papers for approval after we go over them, and then send them to the court. But her first job is to get your permission, so Vanessa can get your credit report. So look for an email from Jubilee.
